Am I a Good Candidate?
In order to qualify for this treatment, you should be in good oral and overall health. You may not be a candidate for porcelain veneers if you are suffering from:
Infection or Decay
Infection or decay can affect the stability of your veneers, so we recommend treating these issues first.
Gum Disease
Uncontrolled gum disease can interfere with the success of your veneers and cause more serious health issues.
Worn Enamel
If your enamel is too thin, it may not be possible to place veneers. However, we do offer minimal-prep options.
Serious Malocclusion
If your teeth are severely misaligned, you may need an alternative treatment, such as braces or Invisalign®.

A Closer Look at Porcelain Veneers
Veneers are thin porcelain shells designed to conceal cosmetic imperfections such as dental staining, misalignment, and gapped or uneven teeth. These restorations are bonded to the front surface of the tooth, helping to improve the appearance of your smile. Our team uses only the highest quality materials, which blend seamlessly with the natural shade of surrounding teeth. For the right patients, we also offer minimal or no-prep Lumineers, so you can achieve a beautiful smile without extensive preparation or temporary restorations.
Types of Veneers We Offer
To address our patients' varying needs, we offer several types of veneers, including:
- Pressed porcelain, for added strength and durability
- Feldspathic, which are thinner and known for their lifelike appearance
- Lumineers, which are ultra thin and require minimal to no-prep
- Porcelain fused to zirconia, which are highly translucent for a natural look
Depending upon your unique cosmetic goals, we can review your options and determine the best material for you.
The Process
The process of receiving veneers will differ depending upon the type of restoration you choose. If you are undergoing a traditional veneers procedure, your doctor can first remove a small portion of tooth enamel and reshape the tooth structure. This process enables us to ensure your veneers fit comfortably in your smile. Patients receiving Lumineers may not require tooth preparation.
As we prioritize patient satisfaction, we also provide mock-ups prior to ordering restorations so our patients can preview the results of their new and enhanced appearance.
Your doctor can then take impressions of your smile, which will be sent to our trusted dental laboratory. Over a period of two weeks, laboratory technicians will carefully craft your custom veneers. During this time, we can provide you with temporary veneers to ensure your comfort. Once your final restorations are ready, you can return to our office for placement. As we prioritize patient satisfaction, we also provide mock-ups prior to ordering restorations so our patients can preview the results of their new and enhanced appearance.
